Why did you enter this pageant?
Who can pass up the opportunity to wear a sparkley dress? Honestly, I am excited to be in the company of these amazing, accomplished and strong women. I
chose to enter this pageant because the challenge that comes with preparing for a pageant almost always leading to an outstanding level of self-discovery. I
know I will leave this experience with higher self-confidence, a better sense of self and a greater love and appreciation for my family.

What is your secret to a successful marriage?
The secret to our marriage is to put our relationship first. We are often working opposing schedules, seeing each other as we race off in different directions,
but we make sure to take time every night to reconnect. We make date nights a priority so that we have time to nurture our relationship and remind each
other that we are on the same team. We understand that we must put effort into our marriage to get the best out of it.

As Mrs Oregon America, what would you hope to accomplish?
I want to be able to share the empowerment and happiness that I have found through marriage. It seems like the popular mind set for our gender right now is
to focus on our career and following our dreams first because we can always get married and start our families later in life. For me, I wouldn't have the success
and support to pursue my dreams and career without my family. They are my biggest fan base, my shelter when I hit hard times and my strength when I feel
like I can not continue. Marriage does not put an end to our abilities to excel in life; it gives us the support system and motivation to push harder and exceed
our expectations.
