One More Time Around Again Marching Band Rose Festival Banner Carrier June 5 and 12th, 2010 Joy was able to march with the OMTAAMB, the biggest marching band around, in the Starlight Parade and the Grand Floral Parade. |
Royal Rosarian FUN NIGHT event June 11, 2010 Joy and Miss Oregon 2008, Danijella Krstic, worked and added glamour for the Royal Rosarian Fun NIght Event for over 250 guests. They were a HIT! |
Miss Oregon Scholarship Pageant July 7-11 2010 Joy participated in the Miss Oregon Scholarship Pageant weekend supporting all the contestants from the Miss Portland Scholarship Program. |

Joy is 26 years old and has one child. She has been married to her husband Jeffery for 2 years. She is an at home mom and works part time as a Hair Designer. As a former Blazer Dancer, Joy mentors to young women through dance and as a board member for a local Miss Oregon America board, Joy uses that opportunity to role model to young women through pageantry. Joy will compete for Mrs America in Tucson Arizona September 7, 2010. Mrs Oregon acts as the unofficial ambassador to the state of Oregon for one year, attending many Parades, Fairs, Community Events, as well as representing our state at the National Mrs America Pageant. Mrs Oregon advocates for marriage and family while maintaining a career at home or outside the home. Besides advocating for her personal cause, she participates and supports the Royal Rosarian Foundation and the Oregon Food Bank. She is also the local advocate for our past and current National Causes such as Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen, and MENC. |
